So What Have You Been Doing Since Graduation? Taught at Lancaster Middle School, Social Worker at the Niagara Lutheran Home In Buffalo, Presently: President and co-owner of Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary, the largest covered waterfowl sanctuary in the world with over 800 endangered and protected waterfowl and 70 different species. Went to Alaska 4 times and collected eggs on the tundra, only person allowed to collect eggs in the US, approved by US Fish & Wildlife and the state of Alaska. Very dangerous walking among grizzly bears, moose and caribou with a bear gun all alone on the tundra for 4 different weeks. I lived through it which is amazing. I would do anything for an egg. Was attacked by a grizzly bear and a moose which is a lot bigger than me. Good thing I’m a fast runner.

So What Have You Been Doing Since Graduation? After my tour in the U.S. Air Force and the Defense Language Institute I embarked on my business career. Completed 10 company turnaround projects and 3 new venture startups. I am currently an adjunct professor at the University of Indianapolis, writing business articles, working on a new book project, and doing a bit of business consulting.

So What Have You Been Doing Since Graduation? Married and had 4 children Went back to school for my associated degree and then bachelors degree in nursing. Remarried then divorced. Back to school for my masters in nursing for my NP. Retired in September of 2013 and now am enjoying my grandchildren and retirement.

So What Have You Been Doing Since Graduation?
I attended the New York School of Interior Design in NYC for four years, 1970 I was drafted and joined the U. S. Air force where I was stationed in northern Maine and the island of Guam, my job was an illustrator. While in the air force I volunteered and taught disadvantaged children art therapy.
I was discharged in 1970, then I was employed by a series of different architectural firm and design firms throughout a number of years before I opened up my own design firm in 2004.
I am a residential designer, and focus on Restoration of period style homes and high end interiors. My work has been published for the last eight years in Design NY, and I made the cover of Design NY in 2014 over a period style Tudor residence of which I worked on for two years.
For fun, I sing in a group at church, which is a contemporary group, and a gospel choir.
My wife and have traveled to France, and Italy several times, with overwhelming enjoyment to the art and architecture of these great countries.
I presently volunteered to several boards and committees. I am sure there are other things but this seems like enough.

So What Have You Been Doing Since Graduation? 1965, Worked at a large print shop of 1800 employees (Clements, Arcata Graphics, Quebecor). Drafted in the U.S. Army 1966-1968 (Viet Nam 67-68, 190th Assault Helicopter unit). Married my childhood sweetheart 12 days out of Nam and have been married for almost 47 years. Also ran a small engine repair business for 35 years. Became Quality Manager at the print shop before leaving, after 30 years, to work for a large Canadian paper company. Became Quality Coated Technical Manager and traveled the U.S. and Canada trouble shooting paper problems on printing presses for 15 years till retirement. Now we are trying to “Live Well, Laugh Often and Love Much”.

Gale (Nagel) Seereiter has been married for 45 years to Phillip J. Seereiter. We have one son, Phillip, Jr., and he is married to Danielle and we have two wonderful grandchildren, Alexis, 6 and Ryan, 8. We have lived in Orchard Park for 40 years. Photography of all these activities & scenery, and wildlife as well. Long term interest in civil rights, human rights, social legislation and social movements.
So What Have You Been Doing Since Graduation?_BA in Sociology from SUNY CORTLAND, MSW in Psychiatric Social Work from Syracuse University, PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University.
Work experiences: Counselling at Hutchings Psychiatric Center, Syracuse; carpentry and ski instruction at Lake Tahoe, MEETING HUBBY ON SKI LIFT AT HEAVENLY VALLEY CALIFORNIA, ON VALENTINE’S DAY, WHILST LIVING ON PARADISE AVENUE, moving to Canada where hubby lives in Feb. 1979, running the Invermere and Golden Mental Health Centers, followed by 10 years of private practice. First 20 years in Canada were also spent fighting local, regional and provincial governments to procure development permits for Hubby’s land which required fighting local corruption in the political field.
Comments/Instructions: To understand my rather lengthy name, let me explain. My family is 100% Polish. My dad changed the family name from Majchrzak to Rombach while he was in the Air Force during WWII, on the grounds that Majchrzak was too hard to spell. I always felt Morley was a phony name given our true ethnicity. So during my residence in Syracuse (’72-’78), I changed my legal last name to the true one: Majchrzak. The rest of the family kept Morley as a last name.

So What Have You Been Doing Since Graduation? _After leaving CCHS, serving 4 years in the Navy, and graduating from the University of Buffalo, I was employed at Prior Aviation Service as a Flight Instructor and Charter Pilot. I eventually obtained a position with Alleghany Commuter (now part of American Airlines) as a pilot flying from the Pittsburgh area to Parkersburg, WV. That led to a career as a First Officer and Captain for Continental Airlines based in Newark, NJ. I retired in 2006 after 23 years of service. I now work part time for a local company doing charters primarily to points on the east coast.

I served in Viet Nam with the Air Force for 2 years, returned home and went to college at Buffalo State; graduating around 1972. I performed more odd jobs till 1977 when I was hired on as a Border Patrol Agent in San Diego, CA. I met my wife in 1983, married in 1984 and moved to Chicago that same year to work as a Criminal Investigator. We moved to Cincinnati in 1988 where I continued to work for the Immigration and Naturalization service as a Special Agent. I retired in 2003 and now enjoy my free time and hobbies. So What Have You Been Doing Since Graduation? After HS graduation, I joined the Air Force and finished my tour late 1969. Kay and I were married in 1971. My brother and I were partners at Artistic Iron Works. In 1977 I became plant manager at Buffalo Structural Steel, and, in 1983, I accepted the position of president of Midstate Steel until I retired in 2003. I continue to provide consulting services to steel fabricators. Since 1995, I have also managed a national steel bridge design/build competition for college level Civil Engineering students. I am currently the executive director of the New York State Steel Fabricators Association.

After active duty with the US Army, I joined Sierra Research in 1971 to work on projects involving both radar engineering and flying. A chance conversation led to my involvement in weather modification (cloud seeding) projects with the US Air Force, McGill University, the US Bureau of Land Management and, finally, large agricultural cooperatives in Africa. I was so taken with Africa that I moved there, initially representing Sierra and Calspan and later returning permanently to flying, both helicopters and airliners. Following a rich, memorable career, I was recruited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to become Director, Operations. Today, I advocate at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), consult, and teach at Canada’s oldest aviation college. My wife and I recently celebrated our 30th anniversary. Our son loves aircraft but is busy as a successful sous chef in one of Montreal’s best restaurants.
